ErenApi Terms of Service
Last updated: October 12, 2026
Welcome to ErenApi. These Terms of Service explain the conditions for accessing and using the ErenApi website, developer tools, and payment verification services. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. About ErenApi
ErenApi is designed to provide tools for developers and merchants building payment-notification verification workflows. Features may include transaction reference matching, amount comparison, API-key management, and duplicate transaction protection.
Features may change as the service develops. A feature described on the website is not necessarily available until its implementation is complete and publicly announced.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You may use ErenApi only if you are legally eligible to use the service under the laws applicable to you. If you are not legally eligible to enter into an agreement independently, you must have appropriate parent or guardian involvement where required by law.
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your account credentials secure. You must notify the service operator if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. API Keys and Security
API keys and other secret credentials must be kept confidential. Do not publish secret keys in public repositories, frontend source code, screenshots, or public messages.
If a key is exposed or compromised, you should revoke or regenerate it as soon as possible. You are responsible for activity performed using your credentials, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
4. Payment Verification
ErenApi is intended to help developers build payment verification workflows. Verification results depend on the data sources, integrations, and features actually implemented and configured.
A transaction reference, amount, screenshot, notification, or API response alone should not be treated as conclusive proof that funds have settled. You should independently confirm important payments with the relevant payment provider or financial institution.
ErenApi must not be represented as a bank, payment processor, or financial institution unless such status is separately and lawfully established.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use ErenApi for fraud, deception, or unlawful activity.
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Interfere with the security or operation of the service.
- Misrepresent payment status or falsify transaction information.
- Abuse the API or attempt to bypass applicable usage restrictions.
- Access another person's data without valid authorization.
6. Third-Party Services
ErenApi may depend on third-party services, including authentication, hosting, databases, email providers, or payment providers. Those services may have their own terms, policies, and availability limits.
If Gmail integration becomes available, you must authorize any requested access yourself and only grant permissions you understand and agree to. Gmail-related features must only be used for their disclosed purposes and with appropriate authorization.
7. Privacy
Your use of ErenApi is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and shared.
Read our Privacy Policy before using features that process personal information.
8. Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, perform maintenance, or improve the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will always work without errors.
9. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ErenApi is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will meet every user's requirements, remain continuously available, or produce error-free results.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service operator will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the service, reliance on unconfirmed payment results, service interruptions, or unauthorized disclosure of credentials.
This section does not exclude liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
11. Suspension or Termination
Access may be restricted or suspended if there is reasonable evidence of misuse, security risks, violations of these terms, or legal requirements. You may stop using ErenApi at any time.
12. Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated as the service evolves. The latest version and its update date will be published on this page. Continued use after updated terms take effect is subject to applicable law and any required notice or consent.
13. Contact
For questions about these terms, contact the ErenApi operator using the support contact published on the ErenApi website.
